Ruan is a Qualified Accountant registered with The South African Institute of Professional Accountants. After completing his postgraduate studies in 2015, Ruan completed his Accounting Internship in Pretoria. He joined Solugrowth as a finance leader manager and served as Group accountant to the Eggspert Group of Companies before taking on a full-time position in 2023 as the Managing Director of the Group.
Ruan’s strength is automating any accounting function. He is a firm believer in technology-advanced software to optimise performance, control, and efficiency. His attention to detail and ability to coordinate tasks ensure the group delivers its promise to its customers. His vision for the Group is to expand its footprint, and to assist companies unlock their full potential. By fostering sound financial decision-making, Ruan is committed to supporting all stakeholders especially clients to ensure their financial objectives are achieved in the future.

Marnus is a Qualified Accountant registered with The South African Institute of Professional Accountants. Marnus started his career in the audit and assurance industry. After completing his internship in 2011, he joined the Bidvest Steiner group as a finance manager, from where he was appointed finance executive at Eggspert Group.
His passion for business and understanding of the needs of business owners have birthed the Grocon concept. Registered with The Institute of Directors of South Africa and a certified director, his passion for advising and bringing forth thriving solutions to businesses is his strength. Having other business interests, Marnus understands the complexities of business strategies, boardroom matters and the like.
He believes that the financial sector will be transformed in 5 years time and that modernised structures, solutions and strategies are non-negotiable to ensure relevancy, efficiency and practicality.

Frans started his career with ABSA Bank Limited in 1998. His interest in wealth management grew, and he joined Capricorn Financial Advisors.
He was also a Discovery Financial Consultant tasked with increasing Discovery’s footprint in the Limpopo province, where he gained valuable experience in corporate and business solutions.
He joined the Attooh Consulting group in 2016 after relocating to Pretoria. He is a Qualified Financial Planner registered with the FSCA of South Africa.
Besides his wealth of experience, he is very much open to change and adaptability and believes in the generational vision of the group.

Phyllis is a qualified accountant, registered with the Chartered Institute of Business Accountants, as well as the South African Institute of Taxation. Her strength lies in bringing order to chaos: finding taxation solutions through out-of-the-box thinking in scenarios where seemingly none exist.
Driven by her passion for the absolute logic of figures, Phyllis founded Journal & Sums Accountants in 2014 rendering services to clients not only in South Africa, but also abroad. This business was amalgamated in 2024 into the Grocon Financial Group, where she now oversees the Western Cape region and foreign client base.
The saying goes: “It is called gross pay because, well, it is gross to see what you could have earned.” This opinion can be applied on so many levels and underlines the importance of proper accounting and taxation care.
